Red Raider “PRIDE”

During the upcoming season you will have the chance to earn a "PRIDE" sticker to place on your helmet. The sticker is earned by continuously showing all qualities which make up the qualities "PRIDE".  This will be determined by the coaches. It is expected that all players learn and display these at all times.

P - Perseverance: The hard work you do after you get tired of what you already did.

R - Respect: Whatever we accomplish is due to a combined effort. There is no “I” in TEAM. If you want to be great you must win the victory over yourself.

I - Inspire: Anyone can give up. It’s the easiest thing to do. But to hold together when others quit is true strength.

D - Desire/Dedication: It’s not whether you get knocked down, It’s whether you get back up. Dedication is not what others expect of you, it’s what you can give to the TEAM.

E - Excellence: Good, Better, Best: Never rest until your Good is Better and your Better is Best. We are what we repeatedly do!

Award Decals Protocol

Coaches Awards
Coaches may give out pride decals & hatchet decals based upon exemplary individual or team play. Some examples of these awards may include runs that break several tackles, pancakes, big hits, excellent execution of technique or game plan, or other plays that are otherwise “highlight” worthy.

Offense
Team
Score 21 points = Hatchet for entire offense
Drives 65+ yards = Hatchet for entire offense

Offensive Line
100 yard increment of cumulative rushing for season = Hatchet for entire O-Line
100 yard increment of cumulative passing for season = Hatchet for entire O-Line

Individual
TD pass = Hatchet for QB/Receiver
TD rush = Hatchet for rusher
3 combined passing or rushing 2XP for a total of 6 points = Hatchet for scorer/passer

Defense
Team
Shutout = Hatchet for entire defense
Stop a team from scoring that enters red zone = Hatchet for entire defense

Individual
Score on defense = Hatchet for defender
Interception = Hatchet for defender
Forced fumble/big hit = Hatchet for defender
Recovered fumble = Hatchet for defender
TFL/sack = Hatchet for defender

Special Teams
Team
Punt return for TD = Hatchet for entire punt return team
Downed punt inside the opponents’ own 20 yard line = Hatchet for entire punt team

Individual
Punt return for TD = Hatchet for scorer
35+ yard punt = Hatchet for punter
3 snap increment of good punt snaps = Hatchet for snapper
